Dr. Bruce R. Anderson, the superintendent, is appointed by the School Board and acts as its executive officer. The superintendent provides the School Board, the district staff, and the community with leadership toward the goals and objectives of the public schools. Lynne Kovash, the assistant superintendent for teaching and learning, provides the leadership and coordination for the instructional program, preschool through grade 12, and Community Education. Beth Astrup, assistant superintendent for system support, supervises the business management of the district, including purchasing, maintenance of buildings and grounds, transportation, food service, major building and construction projects, and the sale and leasing of district property. Bob Lacher, assistant superintendent for human resources, handles all personnel matters, including recruiting, grievances, negotiations and staffing.
